Paddle and Cookout!
Join the Friends of the Shiawassee River and DeVries Nature Conservancy as we enjoy the Shiawassee River! This short paddle will launch from Harmon Patridge Park kayak/canoe launch site at 10 am and travel to the DeVries Nature Conservancy, where we will have a fabulous cookout.
This is a great opportunity for families or beginning kayaker/canoers and all you need to bring for the cookout is your appetite. This event is FREE!
A signed liability waiver is required prior to the paddle. We are limited to 20 kayakers/canoers for this event.
You are responsible for providing your own kayak/canoe.
SHUTTLE SCHEDULE:
Please first drop your kayak/canoe off at Harmon Patridge Park and then park your car at DeVries Nature Conservancy. We will shuttle you back to Harmon Patridge Park at 10 AM to start the float!
