Summer Camp4

Become a Camp Aide!

We are looking for camp aides this summer! This is the perfect opportunity for teens aged 13-18 to volunteer during our Summer Nature Camps and learn leadership skills. Spend your summer outdoors assisting our Education Coordinator while earning up to 40 hours of community service hours a week.

In order to be considered, we will need a Teen Volunteer Application and a Camp Aide Form filled out and returned to Torey Caviston, our Education Coordinator at Camp Aide assignments will be made based on best fit and availability.

Nature Playgroups

Our playgroups are designed to immerse your preschool to early elementary-aged children in the natural world. Each week the class will consist of different activities, hikes, games and crafts. Please be prepared to go outside and get messy!

Nature Playgroup meets every Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 pm.

Join our  DNC Nature Playgroup Facebook page to get updates each week!
Homeschool Program

DeVries provides programs once a month to homeschool families with hands-on activities and in-depth lessons on our natural world.

The cost is $15 per student for our spring session. Our spring 2019 session is focused on Earth's systems and how they interact together.

Homeschool Program meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 10-11:30 am.
Sprouts Service Learning

Each meeting works on projects to help benefit DeVries. Build skills and promote family time with each lesson. Ages 5-13 are welcome, and parents stay to participate with their kids.

RSVP is required by noon on the day of our meeting so we can have projects ready.
