Join us Friday, October 9th from 4-5pm for this month's guided Bird Club Hike in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day and October Big Day!

This event is FREE and all are welcome- children must be accompanied by an adult. We will walk 1-1.5 miles along the Shiawassee River and identify birds by sight and call. Trails are groomed but unpaved and can be muddy this time of year. We even have binoculars to borrow during the hike!

World Migratory Bird Day takes place twice a year: once in the spring and once in the fall. Data collected during the hike will be submitted to Ebird and used by real scientists to help study the fall migration.
